Collection: Infancia
I grew up in a neighborhood full of immigrants, where every block was a mix of cultures and colors. As a Brazilian-America , I was especially inspired by the way people from my community brought their style from back home and made it part of life in New York. I remember running through sprinklers in bright colors on summer days, watching older Brazilian women dressed in frills and bold prints while gossiping on the phone. Those moments shaped my sense of beauty and identity, and are alive in all the memories of my childhood. This collection is rooted in that experience: it’s a love letter to Brazilian and Latin American fashion and the way it adapts and speaks in a city like New York. It is also an ode to all first generation Americans, who may find struggle in wearing both cultural pieces and modern styles. In today’s world, where trends evolve quickly, I want to create space for our cultural fashion to not just be remembered, but reimagined, woven into what’s current, bold, and proudly ours.
